Ford Alumni Center

Evergreen installed a long-lasting membrane roof on the Ford Alumni Center in 2011. Rather than a simple re roof, this jobsite was bustling with numerous trades working to finish the project. Special attention had to be given to timing, and working with other sub contractors, allowing the project to be completed on time and on budget.

East Hayward Grandstands

The East grandstands were re roofed with a simple 3 tab shingle during the recent Hayward Track renovation. Although 3 tab shingles aren't commonly used on pitched roofs anymore their choice for this particular structure is perfect in our opinion—this is a large, massive structure.

Citizens Building

We can proudly say that we have reroofed one of the tallest buildings in Eugene, the Citizens Building. Reroofed with a single ply membrane in 2011.

Oregon Insititute of Marine Biology Museum

Evergreen was chosen by the OIMB in Charleston to install the roof on their new museum. Shingled with higher performing laminated shingles, the degree of difficulty on this job was higher than normal. Specifically, steep roof pitches, 2 to 3 story eave heights, and difficult access.

Hendricks Hill: Private Residence

One of the more predominant houses in the Fairmount District, wood shingles were chosen as the material for this re roof. Although a rarity these days, every once in awhile wood shingle jobs come in. We have installed numerous wood roofs over the years, from shingles to shakes. The finished product is always visually stunning.

The Stereo Store

Evergreen installed this membrane during construction of their new building in 1998. As with most membrane roofs installed on commercial applications, white membrane was installed to reduce cooling costs during Summer Months.

Auto Accident Attorney

This was a large residential job that consisted of removing old wood shingles, installing plywood decking over the roof sub structure and then new composition shingles. The building owner went the extra mile and decided on a very thick dimensional shingle, giving the roof a thick, bulky appearance.

Bowerman Complex

Evergreen was chosen to reroof the Bowerman Building at Hayward field in 2012. Architectural laminated shingles were used. This was a highly technical job due to the proximity of the track and activity around the building during the course of work.

Cascade Manor

Similar in scope and size to other multifamily projects, Evergreen installed an Architectural Composition shingle roof on the 1998 Cascade Manor Expansion.

Coastal Cabin

We frequently find ourselves traveling to the coast for jobs. Normally, especially in very high wind locations such as this cabin, a thicker more wind-suitable shingle is chosen, as well as nailing all shingles in a high wind (6 nail) pattern and sometimes hand tabbing (sealing) all new work to prevent premature blow-off.

Downtown Athletic Club

Evergreen reroofed the DAC in 1998 with single ply membrane. Job access was difficult on this project, not to mention vacuuming off approximately 40 tons of ballast (rock) with a commercial vacuum truck prior to reroof.

Single Ply East 14th

This is a student apartment complex reroofed with single ply membrane in early 2013. Many of the older apartment complexes in Eugene were built with flat, or nearly flat roofs and were originally roofed with a "hot tar" system. Commonly, these buildings are reroofed or retrofitted with a single ply membrane.

Kendall Suburu

Reroofed in 2002 with a high performance, energy star rated single ply membrane. Membrane roofing is well suited to larger expanses of roof area, as large areas can be roofed in short periods of time. This is especially helpful during periods of wet weather.

Knight Library

Evergreen has been chosen to reroof portions of the Knight Library over the years. Numerous extensive remodels over the years, as well as difficult access make this one of the more challenging buildings to work on.

Oregon Institute of Marine Biology

Several dorms and a research building were reroofed in 2012. Older 3 tab shingles were replaced with higher performance (not to mention better wind resistant) Architectural Shingles. Additionally, new 5" K style gutters were installed on all reroofed buildings.

Private Residence East Eugene

Steeper pitched older buildings such as these are frequently reroofed by Evergreen. Scaffolding was used on this specific job to improve overall access.

Private Residence South Eugene

This was a new house install recently built by a local contractor. Architectural shingles were used.

Private Residence South Eugene

This particular home was a re-sheet, meaning that the old shake roof was removed, plywood decking installed over the existing spaced sheathing and felt / shingles installed. This is another example of the extra thick dimensional shingle sometimes chosen for its heavy, rugged appearance and more aggressive shadowing.

Public Defenders

Evergreen reroofed the pitched portions on this historical building in 2006. Steep pitch and access were issues with this project. To help facilitate the reroof, the entire South side of this building was scaffolded, to eave height. Architectural shingles were used.
